In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren.
This week is quite an awesome week for me although I think next week will be one of my best IMM ever and you'll know why next week! ;)
Anyway...onto the books!
For review:
Wither by Lauren DeStefano (Thank you Harper Collins Australia!)
I am finally getting a chance to read this book! I've been reading so many great reviews on Goodreads and the cover is SO GORGEOUS.
Fever by Lauren DeStefano (Thank you Harper Collins Australia!)
This is the sequel to Wither and again, what a gorgeous cover. I am glad I don't have to wait for so long for the sequel so I can directly read Fever as soon as I finish Wither!
The Industry by Rose Foster (Thank you Harper Collins Australia!)
I've been hearing great things about this book from Aussie bloggers and this book sounds awesome. Plus, it's an Aussie YA so I definitely can't wait to read this!
Night Beach by Kirsty Eagar (Thank you Penguin Australia!)
This was a surprise! I haven't read any books by Kirsty Eagar but I've been reading wonderful reviews on her books. Night Beach sounds really interesting and it's another Aussie YA. Definitely need to read this soon!
Everlasting by Elizabeth Chandler (Thank you Simon & Schuster Australia!)
So this is the 5th book in the Kissed by an Angel series. I really enjoyed the first 3 books. Evercrossed, the 4th book was okay. Hope Everlasting is much better than Evercrossed! I actually almost didn't want to continue the series but since I've read the first 3 books, I thought I should still continue reading the series.
Okay, that's all I got this week! What did you guys get this week? Leave links to your IMM and I'll definitely stop by! :)
I hope you have a wonderful Easter filled with lots of chocolates and have an awesome weekend, you guys! ♥
I felt the same way about Evercrossed! I'm still going to read Everlasting but I'll just borrow it from a friend.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you enjoy The Industry! I really liked it when I read it last year - action-packed & soo intense! And Night Beach sounds sooo freaky :S Awesome mailbox Celine!
ReplyDeleteENJOY<3
Urghhhhhhhhhh so jealous that you got Wither and Fever! I need to look into getting that sometime. But it makes me laugh how much more MASSIVE Fever is compared to your little Wither. Nawww.
ReplyDeleteThe Industry! Oh - Night Beach! I remember us discussing this book. I need to get a hold of it soooooon.
Hi Celine,
ReplyDeleteLovely IMM, some great reads. I loved Wither and want to read Fever.
Well Done!!

ReplyDeleteOOOh nice!! Always fun to get a lot of review books! I don't get a whole lot of those, but when I do I definitely do a happy dance!! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!
ReplyDeleteMy IMM will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

Some great books in you mailbox Celine, and another amazing Aussie book! Can't wait to hear how you get on with Night Beach enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteWither! Fever! Yaaaay, I'm so happy that you're finally getting the chance to read those books because they're both super amazing! I feel like a lot of the blogosphere is split down the middle with this book, but I adored them COMPLETELY -- and it doesn't hurt that those are two of my favourite covers! x) All three of those other books sound fantastic too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing mailbox this week, Celine! <3 You have a TON of awesome reading ahead of you, so you better get started now! ;)
I wish I lived in Australia sometimes - and not just because of some of the awesome books you guys get! Night Beach looks wonderful, and I definitely need to get started on Wither ASAP. Great haul!

Ooh, great haul, Celine! Wither is really great. I recently bought Fever, but haven't read it yet. :) Hopefully, you enjoy all your books! Happy reading! <3
ReplyDeleteWoow :) Awesome mailbox!! You've got Wither and Fever!! <3 <3 Enjoy all your amazing books this week :) ;) And Happy Easter!! :) ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks for following my blog too. Happy Easter.
Here's my In My Mailbox
I love Wither!! I can't wait to see what you think of it. It's so gorgeously written and gah... even though some things want to make you punch someone in it, it's a beautiful, quietly powerful novel. I must get my hands on Fever soon! I really enjoyed The Industry - such a different feel to it than most of the YA we're usually reading! Plus, AUSSIE!
ReplyDeleteYou, my dear, have a rockin' mailbox. ENJOY!
Awesome mailbox! I really want to read Wither and Fever. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI've had a copy of Wither for awhile but STILL haven't gotten around to it. In fact, it's currently under my bed. Everyone gushes about it though so I want to try to read it...someday. It looks so tiny next to Fever! I hope you enjoy your books, Celine. :D
ReplyDeletewoo hoo! Yay yay for Wither and Fever <33 TEAM LINDEN CELINE! LOL!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those epic awesome books that are made of awesomesauce!

Wither! It was a pleasant surprise when I ended up liking the book. I hope you'll enjoy the series too, Celine! I'm really curious of The Industry and Night Beach. I love it that you're from Aussie, Celine, because now I can get to know some awesome Aussie YA! :) Enjoy your books, and happy reading! <3
ReplyDeleteWither and Fever are pretty good although very disturbing! Gabriel is adorable though. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteMy IMM
Wither was awesome! I haven't read Fever yet, but I can't wait to start it! The Industry sounds really good too - happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Wither and Fever! Can't wait to hear what you think! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat books!
ReplyDeleteI have WithER, but haven't started it yet. I've heard it and Fever are great books. I hope you enjoy everything!
Unfortunately, Chandler disappointed me by writing more for the series. I like the way book three wrapped things up and then to re-open the can of beans for another trilogy? NO. THANK YOU. And, frankly, I don't want to be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteSTILL. Whaddup with Night Beach? That looks like my kind of book. And I hope you enjoy the Wither series! For me, the concept creeps me out and I can't bring myself to read the books, so you do it for both of us and I'll experience your happiness with the series vicariously :D
Have an amazing reading week!

Yay! Awesome mailbox :D Wither and Fever is amazing. <3 So good :) I hope you enjoy everything you got ;D <3
ReplyDeleteLove, Carina
You got a lot of nice books this week. Wither was a good book, I can't wait to read Fever.

ReplyDeleteUmmmmm, Celine? *pokes* AMAZING MAILBOX!
ReplyDeleteI hear such good things about all of these, but can't wait to see your reviews of the Fever books, and Night Beach! xx
Wither is really good! Still want to read Fever :D Happy reading, very nice IMM!
ReplyDeleteWow, then you're like me! I still haven't read Wither yet. Oh, but it's definitely on my TBR list. Hopefully I can read it soon, too :)
